This paradise for flowers and insects offers room to relax and enjoy some quietness in nature. Different seating arrangements all over the garden invite you to take a break and enjoy the sun and beautiful colours around.

The beautiful garden of Ulrike Heckmann and Wolf-Eberhard Rehfeld enchants visitors from spring to early fall. Especially the time from the mid of June until the end of July is extraordinarily beautiful, because hundreds of roses are blossoming. Visitors can stroll around and enjoy the delighting view of the flowers and their pleasant smell. The gardeners are eager to answer questions of visitors and share their enormous knowledge about roses and other plants. They produce rose jelly with different flavors and on special occasions, like for example the “Day of open gardens” in June, they also offer rose punch as a special treat. Everywhere in between the flower beds, there are little ceramic figurines produced in their workshop directly in the garden. Several seating accommodations invite guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The owners also engage themselves in the rescue of wild animals. Hedgehogs and bird babies left by their parents find a loving home until they can move on without the help of humans. The insect hotel additionally gives room to several insect species.
