Marielyst Strand is part of the approximately 10 kilometers of sandy beaches found on the Southeast coast of Falster. The beach is child-friendly with shallow and calm water. In this scenic coastal environment sandy castles can be built, and shells collected.

There are also dunes where you can find shelter on windy days, enjoy a quiet picnic or just lay back and relax. At the top of the dunes is a beautiful long walking and cycling path from where you can enjoy the peaceful landscape and the magnificent view over the Baltic Sea. The quality of the bathing water is high and environmentally friendly ensured by the community.
