Child-friendly sandy beach on the south Lolland coast and close to the nature area called “The Elbow” because of its shape. You can walk or ride your bike all the way along the beach to the tip of The Elbow and enjoy the nature, the water and the silence.
The Elbow itself is a narrow 7.5 km long curved and narrow piece of land that separates the Langeland belt from Nakskov Fjord. The area is quite low and created from sand and stones that have been brought here for thousands of years. The area is located in the Natura2000 conservation area with many birds and rare beach toads, and all kinds of rare grasses and flowers are setting the stage for calming outdoor experiences.
