Pachołek

If you fancy a walk in the woods, you do not have to leave the city, just stop and visit "Pachołek Hill" - also called the Pachołek Mountain or the Tricity Landscape Park. The park is actually a forest that stretches along the moraine hills surrounding Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia and further up to Wejherowo.

The park is 20,000 hectares in area and covers ten nature reserves with over fifty species of protected plants growing there. The Landscape Park is a “green lung” because it cleans the air, removes dust particles, and produces oxygen for the Tricity agglomeration.

See what a beautiful view over the city, the Gdańsk Bay, the Park and Kashubia stretches from the vantage point on the Pachołek Hill. You will find it on the edge of the Tricity Landscape Park, in the Oliwa district of Gdańsk.
