In part of the Young Town, the industrial shipyard buildings have been seized to serve as alternative culture institutions. The old post-shipyard buildings have become a meeting place and event venue. Interesting art exhibitions, concerts etc. are held here. The Young Town is filled with young people, especially on summer weekends.

One of the most popular places in the Young Town that combines fun with culture was built from old containers. It is a “cultural ecosystem” that attracts the residents of Gdańsk and tourists with a combination of creative chaos, cultural events, excellent quality food and a casual atmosphere.
